As part of the Lineage II 7th Anniversary Celebrations, the first batch of content has been revelaed on the Goddess of Destruction preview site. This is also the official announcement that Goddess of Destruction will be coming to NCsoft West!
The Goddess of Destruction preview site will gradually be updated with additional content over time. With today's update, players can find lore about Shilen, the Goddess of Destruction, as well as information about the Awakening class, Wynn Summoner. Long-time fans of NCsoft MMORPGs are no doubt aware of the visual similarities between Aion and Lineage II. Sure, Aion is quite a bit newer and shinier, but it's easy to see influences from the earlier title if you know where to look. Take the level 30 Elyos Daeva armor for example. The set looks suspiciously like an updated version of L2's Blue Wolf armor, right down to the skin-tight leggings and the white boots.

NCSoft and the Lineage II development team are touting the significant changes coming with the Goddess of Destruction update. The second half of the update will bring improved quest balance, rewards and crafting options as well as thirty new hunting grounds, sixty new raid bosses and four hundred new weapons and armor pieces

NCSoft and the Lineage II development team are throwing a three week long party to celebrate the game's 7th anniversary. During the festivities, players will be treated to double XP weekends, subscriber gifts, account reactivation, special quests and more.
